Admin Tools compatibility
AI Boost for Joomla and Akeeba Admin Tools can both write your site’s robots.txt. When you run them together, AI Boost’s Conflict Manager flags the overlap so you can decide which extension owns that file.
Choose one robots.txt owner
Only one extension should generate robots.txt. Pick one of these:
- Let AI Boost manage it — keep AI Boost’s dynamic
robots.txtswitched on, and turn Admin Tools’ own robots.txt feature off. - Keep Admin Tools in charge — switch AI Boost’s robots.txt management off in the Crawlers & Robots tab, so it stops writing the file.
Running both at once splits your crawler rules across two sources, which is where an accidental Disallow tends to creep in.
.htaccess hardening and allowed paths
Admin Tools can also add .htaccess hardening. If that hardening blocks sitemap.xml or llms.txt from loading, add both as allowed paths in Admin Tools so AI Boost’s generated files stay reachable.
Check the state in the Conflict Manager
The Conflict Manager (admin → Conflicts) lists the overlaps it detects and shows the exact state, so you can confirm one owner is set before you go live.
